BOGEY'S BACKGROUND

Born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba, Mike is a late 80s graduate from Vincent Massey High School in Brandon.

Prior to his time in the automotive industry, Mike enjoyed many years in the broadcast industry where he gained valuable experience in Sports Journalism on TV and Radio as well as hosting various radio shows on a variety of stations in Brandon and Winnipeg. He also has experience as a DJ. He's emceed on many occasions for 25+ years. 

Mike is a sports fanatic who enjoys all sports but mainly baseball, football, hockey, and golf. His favourite teams are the Blue Jays, Steelers, and Islanders. He is also a big fan of his hometown Brandon Wheat Kings. You will often see Mike at BWK home games and at golf courses all over the province.

In his spare time, Mike is a Volleyball referee. He's been a referee for over 30 years in Winnipeg and Westman. He drives a 2023 Red Elantra and most people just call him Bogey (it describes his golf game more so than his personality).
