Domestic Assault
On January 16, 2023, police received a report of a domestic assault in the 200 block of Douglas Street. Upon arrival, police located a female victim who had been struck in the head with a bottle. An intoxicated 44-year-old male was arrested for Assault with a Weapon. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober. He will be released and scheduled to appear in court in February.
Public Mischief
On January 17, 2023, police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of 1st Street. A 37-year-old male passenger provided a false name to police in an attempt to avoid being arrested for breaching his curfew. Police were able to confirm his true identity and arrested the male for Public Mischief and Fail to Comply with a Release Order. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and is scheduled to appear in court today.
Theft Under $5,000
On January 16, 2023, police received a report of a theft from a business in the 3400 block of Victoria Avenue. A 20-year-old female left the store without paying for a bottle of vodka. The suspect was identified through video surveillance and arrested later that evening for Theft Under $5,000. She was later released and is scheduled to appear in court in March.
Theft Under $5,000
On January 16, 2023, police received a report of a theft from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue. A 31-year-old female, who was on a condition not to attend the store, stole approximately $200 worth of merchandise. Police located the female in the area and arrested her for Theft Under $5,000 and Breach of an Undertaking. She was later released and is scheduled to appear in court in March.
IPDA
On January 16, 2023, police received a report of an intoxicated female in the 1300 block of Princess Avenue. Upon arrival, police located a highly intoxicated 25-year-old female who was unable to care for herself. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On January 16, 2023, police received multiple reports of an intoxicated female in the 00 block of 9th Street. The female was highly intoxicated and causing problems in a business. The female was not in any condition to look after herself. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
Five Arrest Warrants
On January 16, 2023, police located and arrested a 31-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding charge of domestic assault. He was held in custody at Brandon Police Service and is scheduled to appear in court today.
On January 16, 2023, police located and arrested a 23-year-old female who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Fail to Appear for Fingerprints. She was later released and is scheduled to appear in court in March.
On January 16, 2023, police located and arrested a 41-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Careless Use of a Firearm and Fail to Appear in Court. He was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court today.
On January 17, 2023, police located and arrested a 53-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Theft Under $5,000. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in court in February 2023.
On January 17, 2023, police located and arrested a 41-year-old female who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Fail to Comply with a Probation Order. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and is scheduled to appear in court today.
