Assault Cause Bodily Harm
At 1:40 pm, officers responded to an assault complaint at a residence in the 500 block of Braecrest Drive. A woman reported she was assaulted by her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend when they attended to pick up a child.
The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault. A window in the victim’s vehicle was broken in the incident as well. A 36-year-old woman from Brandon was arrested and released with a court date in June.
Assault
At 5:00 pm on Saturday, a domestic assault was reported to BPS. A male suspect was at a residence in the 1500 block of 10th St with his girlfriend and others drinking alcohol. An argument started and the male assaulted his girlfriend by punching her in the face and attempting to stomp on her head. He was thrown out of the residence by other people. Officers located him outside and arrested him. The female victim was treated for a badly swollen eye. A 20 year old Brandon man will appear in Court on Sunday on a charge of Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
Assault
Officers attended a residence in the 700 block of 13th St after an assault was reported. At the scene, officer discovered a man and woman in a domestic relationship had assaulted each other. A 44 year old man and a 42 year old woman from Brandon were arrested and released to appear in court in May.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle
A 2017 grey GMC Sierra truck was recoved on Saturday afternoon in the 500 block of 13th St.. The vehicle was stolen from a rural property near Carberry on April 14th. The vehicle is believed to have been stolen by Dustyn PRICE who was charged with numerous offences in relation to this vehicle and other incidents on April 14th and 15th.
