Underground Utilities Section wishes to advise that crews will begin water main flushing from 1st to 18th, between Pacific and Victoria Ave. over the next month.
Subsequent water main flushing will follow in other areas across the city. Water main flushing will generally take place Monday to Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Some areas of the city will be flushed outside of regular business hours to avoid disruption. These areas of the city will be notified directly through paper handouts when they can expect water main flushing to occur.
Residents are asked to watch for signs on either end of the street in the days prior to the scheduled cleaning. Once signs are placed on a street, water main flushing will be completed within 72 hours, subject to unforeseen delays.
