CAA's Annual Worst Roads List Include Two Brandon Streets

Changes to Manitoba's roadways are influenced by CAA's yearly Worst roadways list. 

Every year, CAA Manitoba and numerous other CAA Clubs across Canada organize a month-long initiative known as CAA Worst Roads.

The CAA Worst Roads campaign aims to raise awareness of the most dangerous and neglected roads in Manitoba. The general public who use the roads with automobiles, bikes, or as pedestrians have reported which roads they think are the absolute worst and should take priority on being improved.

After the "Worst Roads" campaign, roads that have been voted on are given to elected officials to start a dialogue and encourage action.

Among the road issues that need attention are:

- Congestion in the traffic

- Crumbling pavement and potholes

- Traffic light timing

- Cycling and pedestrian safety

- Shoddy road markings or signage
