Traffic Stop Uncovers Cocaine Heroin and Cash

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking

On January 20, 2023, police conducted a traffic stop on a rental vehicle in the 1000 block of Princess Avenue. 

 

During the stop, police located approximately 28 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of heroin, 10 grams of methamphetamine and $4,000 cash.

 

A 23-year-old male from Abbotsford, British Columbia was arrested for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking X3 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (Proceeds). 

 

The male was lodged at Brandon Police Service and is scheduled to appear in court today. 

  


 

Breach of Undertaking

On January 20, 2023, police received a report of a disturbance at a motel in the 300 block of 18th Street North.  Upon arrival, police located a 39-year-old male who was on a condition not to communicate with the female in the motel room.  The male was arrested for Breach of Undertaking.  He was later released and is scheduled to appear in court in March.  

 


 

Arrest Warrant

On January 19, 2023, police located and arrested a 30-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Theft Under $5,000.  The male also had several other pending charges.  As a result, he was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court today.
