Possession of Meth / Possession of a Firearm
At 11:10 PM Thursday, police conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Park Ave. Upon approaching the vehicle the officer observed a rifle in the vehicle in plain view. The 47-year-old driver of Newdale MB was arrested for unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle. A search incident to arrest resulted in the discovery of approx. 30 grams of Meth. The male was charged with possession of meth for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle as well as driving while suspended. He will appear in court on November 10.
