Citizens On Patrol Invite You To Their BBQ!
Attention Brandon! Our members will be cooking smokies and serving soft drinks at our local Richmond Co-op for $3.00. They'll be firing up the grill at 11 a.m. and cooking smokies until 4 p.m. this Saturday, May 21, Come on down, say hello and find out more about this important local service.
ABOUT CITIZENS ON PATROL
The program has been around in Brandon since 1991 with many of our members coming and going over the years. We are eyes and ears for the police only, we do not get involved when a crime is in progress. We set up meetings and report with the police on certain areas to help crack down on crime in key areas. Our goal is Deterrence, Education and Awareness. We are always looking for new members to join our group to make our community safer.
With several years of success behind us, the Manitoba Citizens on Patrol Program (COPP) continues to flourish in new communities across the province each year.
