Suspect Caught Selling Stolen items on Facebook Marketplace

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime / Warrants

On December 7th items were stolen from the back of a pickup truck parked at a business on Highland Ave.  The items were located for sale on Facebook Marketplace. 

 

Shortly after 3:30 pm on December 9th a 30-year-old male attempted to sell the stolen items and was subsequently arrested for Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. 

 

The male was found to have outstanding warrants for Theft Under $5,000 X3, Utter Counterfeit Money, and Failure to Appear in Court X2.  He was lodged for court in the morning.

 


 

Domestic Disturbance

Shortly after 10:30 am on December 9th a call was received to attend to a residence on the 200 block of 5th St for a disturbance.  It was learned that an intoxicated male was causing problems and assaulted his ex-girlfriend.  As a result, a 20-year-old male was arrested for Domestic Assault. He was released with an Undertaking and turned over to a family member.  He is to appear in court on February 20th.

 


 

Warrants

Shortly after 5:00 pm police were called to a residence on the 100 block of 16th for a male causing problems.  Upon police arrival, the male was found to have an outstanding warrant for Fail to Comply with Release Order X3.  As a result, a 29-year-old male was arrested and lodged for court.   

 

Just before 11:30 pm a traffic stop was conducted on the 800 block of 11th St.  The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant for, Fail to Appear for Identification.  The 35 year old male was arrested and released with an Appearance Notice.  He is to appear in court on January 18th.

 

Just prior to 4:30 am on the morning of December 10th, a male was checked in the area of a business on Middleton Av.  He was found to have an outstanding warrant for Theft Under $5,000.

 

As a result, a 36-year-old male was arrested and released with an Appearance Notice.  He is to appear in court on January 8th.   

 


 

Other Arrests

Shortly after 6:00 pm police were called to a residence on the 300 block of Dennis St for an intoxicated female causing problems.  An 18-year-old female was medically cleared and lodged at BPS cells to be released when sober.

 

Just before 12:30 am police attended to the 400 block of 5th St with regards to individuals fighting.  Upon arrival, two females were found to be intoxicated and uncooperative. As a result, a 30-year-old female and a 14-year-old female were arrested and lodged at BPS cells to be released when sober.

 

Just before 2:00 am police were called to a residence on the 300 block of 2nd for an intoxicated male causing problems. Upon arrival, a 19-year-old male was arrested and lodged at BPS cells to be released when sober.
