Suspect Caught Driving Without License in Stolen Vehicle

Recovered Stolen Vehicle 

On February 21, 2023, police received a report of a theft of a 2010 Dodge Caravan from the 200 block of 1st Street. 

 

The vehicle was stolen sometime between the early morning hours and 7:00 pm.    

 

On February 22, 2023, at approximately 3:20 pm, police observed the stolen vehicle as it exited a parking lot in the 400 block of 10th Street. Police conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and arrested the 30-year-old male driver and the 26-year-old female passenger for Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. 

 

The male driver was also prohibited from driving.  Both suspects were later released on Undertakings and they are scheduled to appear in court in April.

 

 

IPDA

On February 23, 2023, a taxi attended the Brandon Police Service with a highly intoxicated male that could not provide an address to be taken to.  Members were unable to find anyone to care for the 47-year-old male.  As a result, he was lodged at the Brandon Police Service until sober to ensure his safety. 

 

Arrest Warrants

On February 22, 2023, police located and arrested a 23-year-old female who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Fail to Appear in Court.  The female was later released on an Appearance Notice and she is scheduled to appear in court in April.

 

On February 22, 2023, police located and arrested a 20-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Appear in Court and Fail to Comply with an Undertaking.  He was later released on an Appearance Notice and he is scheduled to appear in court in April.

 

On February 23, 2023, police located and arrested a 23-year-old female who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Breach of Probation.  She was later released on an Appearance Notice and she is scheduled to appear in court in April.
