Several Shed Break-ins Serve as a Reminder To Lock up Your Valuables


B&Es to Residential Sheds – Suspect Arrested in Possession of Stolen Bicycle

On June 2, 2022, police responded to a report of a break and enter of a shed in the 800 block of Russell Street.  Suspects cut the lock to the shed at approximately 5:00 am. It is unknown if anything was taken.

A second shed in the same city block was also broken into overnight by suspects who cut the lock and stole a red and orange CCM fat boy bike with 4-inch fat tires.

A third shed in the 900 block of Russell Street was broken into overnight.  The suspects stole a charcoal CCM bicycle.

On June 3, 2022, shortly after 2:00 am, police came across a male riding a fat bike that matched the description of the one which had been stolen.  The 27-year-old male was arrested once police confirmed he was in possession of the stolen bike.  The male was later released and will appear in court on July 28, 2022, on a charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
