Brandon Police Make Meth-Related Arrest After Witnessing a Repeat Offender Dumping Drugs.
Just after 9:00 PM Friday evening, a member on patrol observed a male depositing a bag into a dumpster in the 1200 block of 20th Street. The bag was found to contain approximately 84 grams of methamphetamine.
The male was seen operating a vehicle nearby and a traffic stop was conducted. Once identified, it was determined that the accused is currently bound by a Release Order that directs a 24-hour curfew.
He was held in custody to appear in court facing one count of possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, and one count of failing to comply with conditions of a Release Order.
