Stolen Vehicle – Suspects Arrested
On November 17, 2022, police responded to a report of the theft of a vehicle from the 100 block of Stickney Ave.
At approximately 1:30 pm, police observed the stolen vehicle being driven before it was abandoned in the area of the 1000 block of 6th street. The Police Service Dog Unit initiated a track from the vehicle, which led to two suspects who were arrested in the area.
One of the suspects, a 27-year-old male was found to be in possession of the key fob for the vehicle, as well as a small quantity of meth. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Fail to Comply with Release Order X2 and Possession of Meth.
The second suspect, a 29-year-old male, was released on charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and will appear in court on January 23, 2023.
Mischief Over $5000
On October 7, 2022, police received a report of mischief to a vehicle, which was parked in the 1900 block of 18th street. The suspect caused damage to numerous windows and dented vehicle panels with an object. Investigation led police to learn the identity of the 37-year-old female suspect.
She was located and arrested on November 17, 2022 and will appear in court on January 12, 2023 on a charge of Mischief Over $5000.
Obstruct Peace Officer
On November 17, 2022, shortly after 11:00 am, police attended to a residence to assist CFS in checking on the wellbeing of a 9-year-old child; however, a 41-year-old male fled the home on foot with the child to avoid meeting with authorities. Police Service Dog Unit tracked the male and the child to a business in the 900 block of 18th street N.
Officers located the two inside the business, and arrested the adult male. He was also the suspect for a previous theft investigation. He was later released and will appear in court on January 12, 2023 on charges of Obstruct Peace Officer and Theft Under $5000.
The child was unharmed and met with Child and Family Service representatives.
Break and Enter to Storage Trailer
On November 17, 2022, police responded to a report of a Break and Enter to a storage compound near the 1700 block of 18th street N. Once inside suspects then forced their way onto a storage trailer, which contained a safe. Suspects forced open the safe using tools and stole some of the contents from inside. It is not clear exactly what was taken.

Break and Enters
On November 17, 2022, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residential garage in the 1000 block of Stickney Ave. Suspects pried the door overnight and stole a BMX style bike.
On November 17, 2022, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residential garage in the 1000 block of Assiniboine Ave. Suspects forced their way into the garage overnight by removing a panel. Once inside they stole bags of empty beer cans.
On November 17, 2022, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residential shed in the 000 block of 10th street N. Suspects forced their way in overnight and stole 3 chain saws, which were recovered a short distance away.

Breach of Peace
On November 17, 2022, shortly before 11:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at a business in the 1000 block of 18th street. The 34-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
Arrest Warrants
On November 17, 2022, a 49-year-old male attended Brandon Police Service, as he was aware he was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Court Order, and Fail to Comply with Undertaking. He was lodged and will appear in court today.
On November 17, 2022, a 36-year-old female attended Brandon Police Service, as she was aware she was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation X2. She was later released and will appear in court on December 19, 2022.
