Police Recover Stolen Back Pack With Help From Surveillance Video

Theft Under $5,000

On January 8, 2023, police located and arrested a 35-year-old male in relation to an on-going theft investigation.  The male suspect had stolen a backpack and contents from a motor vehicle in the 2600 block of Victoria Avenue. 

 

The theft was captured on video surveillance and the 35-year-old male was identified as the suspect.  As a result, the male was arrested for Theft Under $5,000. 

 

He was later released and is scheduled to appear in court in March 2023.   

 


 

Breach of Peace

On January 8, 2023, police received a report of a disturbance at an apartment building in the 2200 block of Pacific Avenue.  Upon arrival, police located an intoxicated 44-year-old male who was hallucinating from drugs and causing a disturbance in the building. The male was arrested to prevent further issues and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 


 

Breach of Peace

On January 9, 2023, police received a report of a disturbance at an apartment building in the 600 block of Douglas Street.  Upon arrival, police located an intoxicated 25-year-old male who trying to fight with other people in the apartment. The male was arrested to prevent further issues and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 


 

 

Arrest Warrants

On January 8, 2023, police located and arrested a 27-year-old female who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Breach of Probation.  The female was later released and is scheduled to appear in court in February 2023. 

 

On January 8, 2023, police located and arrested a 32-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Aggravated Assault and Fail to Appear in Court.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and is scheduled to appear in court today. 

 

On January 8, 2023, police located and arrested a 59-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Fail to Attend for Fingerprints.  The male was later released and is scheduled to appear in court in January 2023. 

 

On January 8, 2023, police located and arrested a 16-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Break and Enter.  The male was also on a Release Order with an 8:00 pm curfew, which he was breaching.  The male was lodged at Brandon Police Service and is scheduled to appear in court today.
