Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
On August 10, 2023, at 6:40 p.m., police came across a pedestrian in the 700 block of Rosser Avenue. The 29-year-old male was found to have a machete concealed in his waistband. A search incident to arrest revealed he was also in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamine.
The male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today on charges of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Carry a Concealed Weapon, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
