Carry Concealed Weapon et al
On January 9, 2023, police conducted a person check on a 19 year-old male on E. Fotheringham Drive. The male was found to be in possession of a can of bear mace, two large knives and ten different pieces of identification that belonged to other people.
The male was arrested for Carrying a Concealed Weapon x3, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose x3, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x10.
The male was later released and is scheduled to appear in court in February 2023.
Theft Under $5,000
On January 9, 2023, police received a report of a theft from a business in the 1600 block of 18th Street. A 34-year-old male had filled his shopping cart full of merchandise totaling over $1,100 and left the store without paying for the items. The male was arrested for Theft Under $5,000. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in court in March 2023.
Break and Enter to Residence
On January 9, 2023, police received a report of a break and enter to a residence in the 400 block of 10th Street. The suspect(s) gained entry by forcing the door and stole numerous electronics from the residence.

On January 9, 2023, police received a report of a male sleeping in the washroom at a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue. Upon arrival, police located a 33-year-old male who was highly intoxicated and unable to care for himself. The male was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
Arrest Warrants
On January 9, 2023, police attended the Brandon Correctional Center to arrest a 26-year-old male inmate who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Fail to Comply with an Undertaking. The male remains in custody at the Brandon Correctional Center and is scheduled to appear in court in September 2023.
On January 9, 2023, police located and arrested a 30-year-old female who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Fraud. She was later released and is scheduled to appear in court in February 2023.
