The Operation Red Nose Campaign Kickoff was held today at CAA Brandon (305B - 18th Street N). Several sponsors and volunteers were on hand to help spread the message throughout Brandon.
The campaign kicks off this weekend! Friday, Nov. 24th & Sat. Nov. 25th and runs every Friday & Saturday evening as well as New Year's Eve. This year, ORN celebrates its 40th year of operation across Canada and its 25th year here in Brandon. The campaign helps keep the roads safer throughout the holiday season when people are out celebrating with family and friends.
ORN runs on a donation and volunteer basis. All donated funds stay local and are allocated to youth sports initiatives. To become a volunteer please pick up an application form at CAA Brandon 305 - 18th Street North, Murray Chev Cadillac at 1500 Richmond Ave, or Western Nations Gas Bar 1725 - 18th Street North. NOTE: Your completed Criminal Record Check forms must be dropped off with 2 pieces of photocopied ID, 1 must be government-issued with your picture E.g. driver's license, or passport at Brandon Police Services 1020 Victoria Avenue Brandon.
