Periods of snow and blowing snow are expected to continue tonight through Friday in parts of southern Manitoba as a low-pressure system centred over Minnesota slowly weakens and drifts eastward. Further accumulations of 5-10 cm can be expected by the weekend along with occasionally poor visibility in blowing snow as northerly winds gust as high as 60 km/h. Temperatures are expected to gradually fall to near-seasonal values.
