Next Phase of Nuisance Mosquito Fogging Starts Thursday
Mosquito trap counts from this past weekend exceeded the established thresholds for proceeding with adult mosquito control. Weather dependent, City of Brandon Parks & Recreation Services will be moving forward with an overnight fogging program for nuisance mosquitoes on Thursday, July 7th beginning after 9 p.m.
Crews will start fogging on the north side of Brandon and will complete fogging the entire city through the night. In the event fogging is postponed due to weather conditions, the public will be notified, and fogging activity will be re-scheduled to the next suitable evening.
