Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
On September 30, 2023, at approximately 3:00 p.m., police responded to the 100 block of 3rd Street for a report of a disturbance.
Further investigation revealed that a 37-year-old male was chasing two other males in the area with a firearm and threatening them.
On October 3, 2023, a search warrant for the male suspect’s residence was obtained and conducted. 177 caliber and .22 caliber pellet guns were located.
The male was arrested and later released to appear in court on December 11, 2023, on charges of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Uttering Threats.
