Assault Cause Bodily Harm
On February 12, 2023, police received a report of a domestic assault that occurred at a residence in the 200 block of College Avenue. The female victim had been kicked in the head and suffered injuries that were consistent with a concussion.
Police arrested a 23-year-old male for Assault Cause Bodily Harm. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in court in March.
Fail to Comply with Release Order
On February 12, 2023, police were called to an unknown situation at a motel in the 1100 block of Braecrest Drive. Upon arrival, police located a male and female in a motel room. The male was on a condition not to communicate with the female. He was also wanted on an outstanding charge of Fail to Appear in Court. As a result, the 37-year-old male was arrested for the outstanding warrant and for Failing to Comply with a Release Order. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and is scheduled to appear in court today.
Theft under $5,000
On February 12, 2023, police received a report of a male banging on a door in the 300 block of Cornwallis Crescent. Members attended and located the 35-year-old male who was also a suspect from a theft that occurred at a business on February 10, 2023. As a result, the male was arrested for Theft under $5,000. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in court in April.
Breach of Probation
On February 13, 2023, at approximately 3:30 am, police received a report of two females banging on doors in the 400 block of 8th Street. Police attended and located an intoxicated 17-year-old female who is on Probation with a curfew. The female was arrested for Breach of Probation. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober. She is scheduled to appear in court in March.

On February 12, 2023, police received a report of a disturbance between a male and female near 10th Street and Rosser Avenue. Upon arrival, police located a highly intoxicated 46-year-old male who was belligerent and causing problems with a female. The male was lodged at the Brandon Police Service until sober.

On February 12, 2023, police received a report of an intoxicated female sleeping in front of a business in the 1400 block of 1st Street North. Members attended and located the highly intoxicated 36-year-old female. She was lodged at the Brandon Police Service until sober to ensure her safety.
Breach of Peace
On February 12, 2023, police received a report of two males fighting near a business in the 1000 block of Richmond Avenue. Upon arrival, police spoke with a male who stated the accused had called him a derogatory name, which resulted in the physical altercation. Police located the intoxicated 51-year-old male suspect in the area. He was arrested for Breach of the Peace and lodged at the Brandon Police Service to prevent any further issues.
Arrest Warrants
On February 12, 2023, police located and arrested a 39-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Fail to Appear in Court. He was lodged at the Brandon Police Service and is scheduled to appear in court today.
