On June 12, 2023, at approximately 8:00 pm, police responded to a report of a male who threatened employees at a business in the 1500 block of 18th Street.
The male was banned from the store after he was caught attempting to steal merchandise, which caused him to threaten that he would come back and shoot the employees.
Security footage from the business assisted police in identifying the male who was later located and arrested shortly after 9:00 pm. The male was also responsible for stealing merchandise from another store in the 1200 block of 18th Street earlier in the evening.
He will be released to appear in court on August 17, 2023, on Uttering Threats and Theft Under $5000 charges.
