Man Arrested Soon After His Friends Drop Him Off at Brandon Landfill Site

A 39-year-old Brandon Male has been charged with Break and Enter with Intent to commit Theft. The investigation has revealed that the male was dropped off by his friends at the Brandon Landfill Site with the intention of breaking in and stealing laptop computers from the electronics pile. 

The plan fell apart when the friends did not return to pick him up. The Accused then broke into the recycling depot office and called the police to turn himself in as he was getting cold. 

He has been released from custody with a court date of February 9th, 2023.

 


 

A 28-year-old male has been arrested Saturday morning after he was apprehended inside a garage in the 500 block of 14th Street. It is alleged that he is responsible for two residential break-ins in this area overnight. He was remanded in custody to appear in court on December 19th.

 

Shortly after 1:00 a.m. Sunday police received a report that a vehicle had been stolen from the 000blk of 13th Street. The vehicle a 2013 Black Nissan Altima with Manitoba License KHP 821, had been left running and unattended on the street. 

This vehicle has not been located at the time of this release.
