Break and Enter – Suspect Arrested
On October 18, 2023, at approximately 11:00 pm, police were flagged down by an employee of a business in the 2000 block of Park Ave who observed a male trying door handles at the business.
Police searched the area and located a 14-year-old male in a work truck at a second business in the 2200 block of Park Ave.
The male was arrested and found to be in possession of the truck keys, break-in instruments as well as property that was believed to have been stolen at a third nearby business.
The youth was later released to the custody of a guardian, and he will appear in court on December 19, 2023, on charges of Break and Enter, Theft Under $5000 and Possess Break-in Instruments.
