UPDATE: Kinsmen Pool Opening Postponed

Brandon, MB – Due to mechanical issues, the Kinsmen Pool's opening will be postponed. Crews are working on getting the issues fixed as soon as possible.  

In the meantime, residents are encouraged to enjoy the Spray Parks and Paddle Pools that opened earlier this week or visit Brandon's Community Sportsplex Pool. 

The City of Brandon thanks all patrons for their patience as we get the pool up and running for this season. More information on Parks & Recreation Services programming can be found at mycommunity.brandon.ca or by calling 204-729-2471.

Spray Parks & Kinsmen Pool Opening

Brandon's Spray Parks and Paddle Pools opened on June 8th, 2022 and Kinsmen Pool will open Friday, June 10th, 2022.

~Spray Parks~

Stanley, Kin, and Valleyview Spray Parks will be open until September 03, 2022, and will be unsupervised.

Rideau & Westridge Spray Parks will be open until September 03, 2022, and will be supervised.

Rideau & Westridge Paddle Pools will be open until September 03, 2022, and will be supervised.

All five spray parks are FREE to use on a first-come, first-served basis. 

- Stanley Park is located at the 1500 block of Princess and 15th Street.

Hours are as follows: 

June/July: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm 

Aug/Sept: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm 

- Kin Park Spray Park is located at 3rd Street and Aberdeen Avenue.

Hours are as follows: 

June/July: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm 

Aug/Sept: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

- Valleyview Spray Park is located at 77 Whillier Drive (Behind Valleyview Community Centre).

Hours of operation are as follows: 

June/July: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm 

Aug/Sept: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

-  Rideau Spray Park is located at Rideau Park (beside Kinsmen Pool).

Hours are as follows: 

June: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Mon - Fri)

          12:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Sat & Sun)

July:  12:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Aug/Sept: 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm

- Westridge Spray Park is located at 61 Silverbirch Drive.

Hours are as follows: 

June: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Mon - Fri)

          12:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Sat & Sun)

July:  12:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Aug/Sept: 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm

~Kinsmen Pool~

The Kinsmen Pool is located at 411 Park Street and is open from June 10 to September 3, 2022. Hours of operation and admission fees are listed below. 

All children under the age of 7 years of age must be accompanied by an adult or guardian 13 years or older.

 June 10 - 30, 2022

**Statutory holidays will have a public swim from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. and from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.! There will be no lap swim or aquafit.**

July 2 - September 3, 2022

Kinsmen Pool Rates

**Pool will be closed from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily.  Rates are per time slot and are not daily rates.*

*Please note: New diving board has been ordered for Kinsmen Pool. It is to be delivered by mid-Summer.
