Keystone Centre Launches 2025–2030 Strategic Plan: Building a Stronger Future, Together Brandon, MB – The Keystone Centre is excited to unveil its 2025 Strategic Plan, a progressive roadmap intended to strengthen the Centre’s role as a community pillar while positioning it for sustainable growth and further community impact.
"The Board of Directors is pleased to unveil our 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, a significant roadmap that outlines the key areas of focus and priorities of the Keystone Centre's Board of Directors and management team while keeping what the Keystone Centre provides top of mind," said Keystone Centre Board Chair Bruce Luebke. "The Keystone Centre, and its many partners and their events are deeply intertwined and play a crucial role in the overall success of the community. Together, they create a vibrant and dynamic environment that enhances the quality of life for all residents and contributes significantly to the prosperity and identity of Brandon."
Produced with support from Brandon-based consulting firm Siere, and guided by community input, the Strategic Plan reestablishes the Centre’s vision to be “an innovative world-class destination where community meets, experiences, learns and thrives for generations to come.” With this vision in mind, the Board of Directors has identified five strategic themes that will drive progress over the next five years:
• Uniting to Build a Prosperous Future – Cultivating community pride and awareness through engagement and education initiatives that highlight the Centre’s economic and cultural role in Brandon. The Centre and its partners currently contribute over $78.1 million to the provincial economy annually and support more than 2,000 jobs.
• Building Financial Sustainability – Ensuring long-term operational viability by balancing budgets, reviewing major contracts, and seeking new revenue through sponsorships, green technologies, and leasing opportunities.
• Enhancing User Experience – Improving facility use and guest satisfaction by reviewing key agreements, enhancing green space, and emphasizing the user-first philosophy at the core of the Centre’s operations.
• Expanding Economic Impact – Attracting national and international events through strategic marketing, partnerships, and a commitment to measurable economic development.
