Intoxicated Driver Assaults Officer and Attempts to Flee During Traffic Stop

Assault Police Officer/Resisting Arrest

At 8:23 pm, Police stopped a vehicle on Acadia Blvd and the operator of the vehicle attempted to walk away from the vehicle at the stop. Upon being approached by the officer and told to stop, the accused initiated a struggle before shoving the officer and fleeing. 

The accused was also found to be breaching his court order to abstain from alcohol consumption. The 34-year-old male was taken into custody a short time later and will be held for court in the morning.

 

 

Warrant

At 6:30 pm, Police checked a female in the 600 block of Rosser Ave and found her to have outstanding warrants for her arrest for Theft Under $5,000 and three counts of Failing to Appear for Court. The 30-year-old female was held for court in the morning.

 

At 8:55 pm, Police were called to a disturbance on Alaska Bay. Upon arriving at the scene they dealt with a 23-year-old male who had an outstanding warrant for Assault with a Weapon and Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon. He was arrested and held for court in the morning.

 

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

At 12:04 am, Police were called to a female causing a disturbance in the 1800 block of 18th St. The 25-year-old female was intoxicated by drugs and was refusing to leave the property. She was breaching her Release Order conditions of a 24-hour curfew as well as to abstain from intoxicants. She was arrested and held for court in the morning.
