Immediate Roadside Prohibition
On January 7, 2023, shortly after 10:00 am, police observed a vehicle drifting in a parking lot near the 1500 block of 18th street which caused them to conduct a traffic stop.
The driver, a 34-year-old male, had been consuming alcohol. Police obtained two samples of his breath on approved screening devices which resulted in a fail. The suspect’s vehicle was towed and he received an Immediate Roadside Prohibition.
He also receives fines under the Highway Traffic Act for Drive Carelessly and Failing to Comply with Conditions of License – 0 BAC.
Break and Enter to Residential Garage
On January 7, 2023, police received a report of a break and enter to a garage in the 900 block of 15th street. Suspects forced the door overnight, but nothing appeared to have been taken.

Fail to Comply with Release Order
On January 7, 2023 shortly before 4:00 pm, police responded to a report of a female, who appeared to be under the influence of illicit drugs, in the 900 block of Rosser Ave, attempting to break a window with her bare hands, while not wearing any shoes. Police located the 28-year-old female and learned she was to abide by conditions not to consume any drugs or alcohol. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on a charge of Fail to Comply with Release Order.
IPDA
On January 7, 2023, at approximately 9:00 pm, police responded to a report of an unknown male sleeping on a front porch in the 300 block of 8th street. The 51-year-old male was in no condition to care for himself and had nowhere to go. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
Arrest Warrants
On January 7, 2023 police located and arrested a 25-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court X2 and Assault X 2. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.
On January 7, 2023, police located and arrested a 40-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Release Order. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.
On January 7, 2023, police located and arrested a 22-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Possess Weapon, Fail to Comply with Release Order, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.
On January 8, 2023, police located and arrested a 31-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Breach of Probation. He was released to appear in court on February 13, 2023.
On January 8, 2023, police located and arrested a 29-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Breach of Probation. She was released to appear in court on February 13, 2023.
