***FREEZING RAIN EVENT IMMINENT FOR WESTMAN*** ️
According to the Manitoba Weather Centre, a low-pressure system is tracking eastward across the Prairies today. It is expected to bring with it some soaking amounts of Freezing Rain later this evening and overnight to parts of Southern Manitoba.
An area just to the West and North of Brandon is expected to be hardest hit with potential amounts of 5mm possible over the next 12-24 hours.
It is expected Environment Canada will issue either Freezing Rain Warnings or at the very least some Special Weather Statements later today.
