In an effort to further protect its tenants, Fairview Home is going into a partial Code Grey. This is to address the smoke which we are seeing coming from the provincial fires across western Canada.
Staff and management at Fairview would like to notify friends and families of its tenants, if you were planning to visit today, you are asked to please postpone your visit to another day as they are trying to keep as much smoke out of the building as they can.
Also note that they may need to go into a compete lockdown which will mean there will be no one admitted into the facility at this time. Staff will be admitted but only through a specific process.
Updates will be given throughout the day as changes in the situation occur.
Our priority is the care of our residents; therefore, we are checking your loved ones more frequently. We are watching for any respiratory concerns. Staff will be monitoring this throughout the day.
