Drug Smuggling Attempt Into a Prison Thwarted By RCMP Officers
On Monday, January 9, 2023, Selkirk RCMP arrested a male with warrants. Officers suspected he had ingested drugs as an attempt to smuggle them into prison. He was taken to hospital & once there he used the washroom & passed a balloon filled with 34 gm of meth. 26yo William Fuller has been charged.
“Officers have begun to see a number of individuals turning themselves in for the purpose of smuggling drugs into prison, “said S/Sgt Kyle McFayden. “Thankfully these officers recognized this & took precautions to ensure the male was not injured & the drugs were recovered.”
