Brandon Set to Host Dakota Nation Winterfest 2023 Jan. 26-29

Brandon Set To Host The 2023 Dakota Nation Winterfest

Just as the dust settles from the traffic coming through town for Ag Days, the wheat city gets set to host yet another major event. The Dakota Nation Winterfest is the largest Indigenous sport and cultural event of its kind all under one roof. This event has been held at Brandon's Keystone Centre for many a year but has been marketed with many monikers over the years (Tribal Days, First Nation Celebration).

The annual event begins Thursday, January 26th and runs until Sunday, January 29th in Brandon and features many attractions for people of all ages. Attendees can enjoy evrything from Hockey to Square Dancing and most everything in between. Try your luck at the Bingo offering a $10,000 blackout jackpot, $1000.00 Bonanza, $1000.00 Speedo game, and several regular games with prizes of $300.00 to $500.00!

There's also a square dancing competition, talent show, trade show, volleyball tournament and more! For more information visit the Dakota Nation Winterfest Facebook page here.
