COVID Outbreak Declared Over at Fairview Home


The COVID-19 outbreak at the Fairview PCH on the 1st, 3rd and 4th floors is over.

Staff and Manangement of the 248 bed long term care home would like to thank residents and their visitors for assisting in following the PPE guidelines of hand washing, wearing goggles and masks when visiting your loved ones on these floors who were not affected by the virus.

Those who had residents in isolation are also thanked for their cooperation of hand washing, wearing gowns and gloves as well as masks and goggles.

Nurses, Health Care Aides, Admin Staff, Educators, Dietitians, Nutritional Staff, Environmental Staff, Recreation Staff and Maintenance Staff all played a large part in supporting the residents and a huge thank you is extended to them. Fairview Home's Infection Control Nurse, Alla and Mental Health Resource Nurse, Marsha were enormous support at the site to help staff, residents and visiting families. 

As Fairview Home's top priority is the care of our residents; additional nurses, health care aides and clerical staff were available, and were also greatly appreciated.
