December 18, 2022 will mark three years since Luke ran ahead of us to Heaven. Each year since, we have tried to do something on this day to honour him. In 2020 and 2021 with your help, we managed to do some pretty amazing fundraising and make some incredible donations, but this year it was just not meant to be.
That left us wondering what we could do this year that would make him smile? That would help us, and everyone that loves him, remember his fun-loving, goofy spirit. We decided the best way we could do that is by inviting everyone to “Hide a Hotwheels” in honour of Luke on December 18.
If you would like to participate, all you have to do is grab a Hotwheels car, attach a little card to it that says: “Enjoy this car in Memory of Luke”, and hide it wherever you want on December 18th. We would love it if you left a link to this group on the card too. That way the people that find your cars can post photos for all of us to see (hopefully).
We are so happy to have you be a part of this group, and I will be posting more as we get closer to the date, but in the meantime, feel free to invite your friends and family to participate. We think that Luke would be so excited to see all the Hot Wheels being hidden for others to find and play with, especially so close to Christmas.
