BRANDON WILL BE FEATURED IN A NATIONAL REPORT TO HELP CITIES PREVENT TRAFFIC DEATHS.

The new report, released by Strong Towns, will be presented at a virtual press conference with four national leaders in traffic safety.

On Tuesday, October 15, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. CST, Strong Towns will host a virtual press conference with Vision Zero Network, Smart Growth America, Mayor Ravinder Bhalla of the City of Hoboken, and Toole Design to show cities how they can prevent traffic deaths and release a national report, “Beyond Blame: How Cities Can Learn From Crashes To Create Safer Streets Today”. This report will present findings and recommendations from 18 cities whose residents conducted Crash Analysis Studios. The Brandon crash analysis featured in the report reviewed the intersection of Lorne Avenue East and Park Street, where a cyclist was struck in June of 2022.
