Bethel Road is a three-piece group known for their rich harmonies and a mix of traditional/rootsy country sounds. The band based in Southwestern Manitoba is comprised of Scott Warren on Drum box and percussion, Jherrad Cumming on guitar and Morgan Peloquin who sometimes plays guitar but is also the lead vocalist in the band. All three share lead vocal duties at various times during their public performances and the blend of their voices becomes a rich harmony which is really something to behold. Their repertoire includes traditional country numbers mixed with 90s country, some newer country tunes and even some originals.

Their recent guest spot on Manitoba Music Makers marked a return to action for local group Bethel Road. The band had been taking a break for necessary reasons, but the timing seemed right to reform and return to performing again. Guitarist Jherrad Cumming expressed, “This interview which included a sound check and subsequent recording of two songs at the WCG studio seemed to act as an inspiration for us to make time for more regular rehearsals. We’re really looking forward to playing more shows throughout Manitoba!” They’re back in action tonight for the 10th year of the tailgate cook-off in Roseland Manitoba.
