Aurora Borealis Set For Act 2 Tonight

You've probably seen plenty of posts on your social media feeds regarding the northern lights. It seems the best is yet to come regarding the Aurora Borealis.

Canada's Far North provides the most breath taking spectacles in the skies. The northern lights have become such a global phenomenon, people from different parts of the world plan trips to far north regions like Yukon, Nunavet as well as Northern Manitoba to see the wondrous waltz of lights illuminating the sky.

In the wee hours of Friday morning the Northern Lights illuminated the skies with otherworldy designs and shapes spiraling across the sky from northern Manitoba to as far south as Phoenix Arizona.  Believe it or not, the current aurora borealis activity is moderate to low measuring 4 out of 10 on the activity scale. Weather permitting, northern lights displays could be visible directly overhead in many northern communities and visible to the North from slightly lower northern latitudes. We can expect more brilliant light displays throughout this weekend weather permitting. Happy aurora hunting!
