Assorted Weapons Found During Early Morning Traffic Stop

Possession of a Dangerous Weapon

 

At approx. 4:35 AM Saturday morning, Police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the 1200 block of 13th St.  During the traffic stop, the 21-year-old male driver was found to possess two CO2 pistols and a baton. This accused has since been released with a September 14th court date, for three counts of possessing a dangerous weapon.

 

One of the passengers, a 28-year-old male, was found to be on an Undertaking with a condition that he not communicate with a 3rd male in the vehicle. He was also found to be in possession of a machete. He has been released with a court date of September 14 charged for possession of a dangerous weapon and failing to comply with his Undertaking.

 

The third occupant of the vehicle a 35-year-old male was found to be the subject of a Release Order with a 10 PM – 6 AM daily curfew.  He was arrested for failing to comply with his Release order and will be held for court later today.

 

The fourth and last occupant of the vehicle, a 29-year-old male, was also found to be on an Undertaking, which included a no-contact order with the second of the previously mentioned males. He was arrested and has since been released with a court date of September 14.
